I do, I do!! If I see a soldier in uniform, I shake their hand and thank them. I'm trying to teach my toddler daughter to do the same. I agree. Our veterans our treated shabbily. I don't know why anyone in the world would want to sign up with Uncle Sam.
They don't get paid enough and don't get enough benefits to make it worth their while. Then after they are finished serving, there aren't enough hospitals or doctors to treat them or treatment is with-held from them altogether! Shameful. Old
G. W. wants everyone to enlist and serve, but wants to treat them like wicked step-children when they do! Shame on him and the rest of the U.S. government! Thank you, veterans. Thank you!! Your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Hello...I'm not actually going to answer your question...I'm going to tell you what I was talking about in that other question when you asked "what is that woman talking about?"
I asked a question of my own about my boyfriend and I in the relationships category and good old olsen decided to call me a slutty little whore and say all kinds of other things about me that were uncalled for. So I was pretty much responding to his comment that he made towards me. It turns out that based on his comment, I realized, he had been reading my previous questions and formed an opinion or me that is untrue and decided to state his opinion in one of my questions.

The days of gratitude are long past burried. Do we find in the books such a thing? and anyone lays emphasis upon this?

I disagree that not many people give thanks. One is pretty much just giving thanks merely by breathing our own free air. I certainly give thanks to our troops, but I despise the war itself. Those boys have no choice once they're in there. Many don't even know what they're getting themselves into. I support our troops, just not their cause. It was one pushed onto them by a fearful leader. Poor boys!

I always give thanks for the men and women who fight for our freedom. If it were not for them, we wouldn't be able to enjoy the things that we have today.
