I think that reliving the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 is a fools pursuit but in light of the media coverage and the amount of things out there to watch its not an easy thing to ignore. So that said my question for the nation is this. Why, have The United States people been complacent and fairweather friends to our government instead of supporting our leaders and our military in the endevours to catch those who wish to subvert the one thing our nation was founded on. Freedom! If we truely love this country why do we not support the actions of it's leaders instead of protesting outside a ranch in Crawford TX. Personaly I say lets catch these B******s and publicly execute them F*** the trial just put a bullet between their eyes in front of the world. Let them know that we will never FORGET. and we will never BACK DOWN. comment if you like I just needed to vent. Long Live America home of the Free and Proud.

The truth is most Americans could not stomach what would be required to win a 'war on terror'. The little shadow dance being performed in Iraq is pure BS, we aren't accomplishing anything.

First - I would love to support the actions of our leaders going after those who hurt us - but they conquered Iraq instead.

Second - "let's just catch these ... and publicly execute them forget the trial" - sounds JUST like Saddam, doesn't it?.

You want to see some real courage, try to see the documentary by the two Frenchmen who were with one NY fire batallion on 9/11, filming a documentary, filming these brave guys walking into hell to save people. They didn't vent, they didn't get all pouty about bad tv coverage, they went out and did the right thing. Forget about the politicians, these firemen and police are the ones who saved us that day.

Gotta add a message to the Beast - who is living in fear of the next attack? I probalby have some years on you, I grew up figuring we would be nuked before I was 20. Learned to hide under my desk if a siren went off and went to see the missile sites a few miles from my suburb. Why would I be afraid of a few nut jobs with bombs?

Proud of Your patriotism. But I think You would feel differently about the coverage on 9/11 had You lost Someone dear to You.
There have been so many documentaries about the Children left behind, and the grief they still feel, just like it had just happened. Are You close to Your Dad? Imagine if He were not with You, God forbid. Many of the Children are honoring Their Parents by following in Their footsteps, with Their careers. Even the Pilots. One Mom had seven Children. The Spouses, Men and Woman are still wounded. When You lose Someone that You Love, the day They left this Earth is a very big day to those Who loved Them.

That's the great thing about our nation. We are free to think what we want about the state of our current government. It's like a family. The people we call kin may infuriate us, but we never give up or leave.
Personally, I think there is too much fighting going on between "liberals" and "conservatives". We are Americans, and if we don't cut out this fighting, we are bound to have another civil war. And then, the terrorists will have won.

I agree with you. It just goes to show how the far left wing (communist party) have made great strides since they have hijacked the Democrat party. That wench sheehan is a perfect example. She will change her tune when they are through with her and they set her trashy butt out on the curb where she belongs with the other trash.

i found a typo in your paragraph. i believe it should read BULLETS (plural). otherwise, RTFO. cancers of this world need to be eliminated, not nurtured or protected by civil rights. time for the usa to stop being the punching bag of the world and start doing some serious punching instead. how can people agree to live in fear of the next attack(s)?

Can I say B***it right back. This American self righteousness is getting to the point of absurdity. 10,000 dead in earthquakes or famines in the third world hardly merits a one minute silence. American bombing raids that kill hundreds are all about "defending freedom' or similar doublespeak. But when the US finally gets sucked into events that it has had more than a hand in creating, everyone, including you, are tying ******* yellow ribbons around god damned oak trees.

I wish our men were home, They have been chasing their tails for 4 years, If they were sent to geet after bin laden instead of sadam that murderer would not be running around threating the U.S again. I support our TRoops, I'll never support Bush.
