Don LaFontaine (born August 26, 1940) is a voice actor famous for recording over 4000 movie trailers, television commercials, network promotions, and video game trailers. His signature voice is both ominous and sonorous. He is often nicknamed “The King of Movie Trailers” or “The Voice of God,” and credited with helping to create the modern movie trailer, including clichés such as “In a world where none can be trusted, one man will risk it all.”
