I have been on the pill for a while. I was at the end of my pack (the green pills) when I had started my period. That was a week ago and I havent took any since and I am no longer on.But I was suppose to start taken the new pack 4 days ago and havent. So If I was to have intercourse could there be a chance of getting pregnant so soon after not takin the pill?

You can get pregnant if you miss ONE pill. So yes, you could definitely get pregnant.

You can get pregnant if you miss just one day. You are also susceptible for the first week or so of a new pill pack, especially if you have been off the pill for awhile. You are capable of getting pregnant immediately after going off of the pill.
Even if you're on the pill, you should use a condom or other form of BC. Although it is generally 99% effective, there are about 132908324 ways the effectiveness can be lowered (i.e. not taking it at more-or-less the same time daily, unhealthy diet, being overweight). And, even when taken correctly, there's always a chance.

The pill does not 100% prevent pregnancy. You can get pregnant while taking the pill. A freind of mine became pregnant while taking birthcontrol pills. Mixing medications such as antibiotics and diet bills will lessen the effect of birthcontrol pills. Nothing is 100% at preventing pregnancy except for not having sex. YES, you can get pregnant

Yes there is a chance that you could get pregnant. You didn't start a new pack like you were suppose to and if you have sex now with you just having a cycle you are asking to get pregnant.

The answer is yes. any deviation for the plan causes the risk of getting PG to go up. I have 2 babies and I took the pill just like it was supposed to be taken. Be careful and use another method of prevention. The only sure method is to abstain totally.

Yes, it's fairly small, but there is a chance of pregnancy when any pills are missed and you have sex. Get some more pills!!!

Nothing except no sex is 100% safe. You should use a condom.
