OK first off if you are not a mechanic you are not going to know where to look, and will not have the tools and equipment , first you must verify thing proses of elimination, check to see if the vehicle is getting spark, if yes, then you need to check to see if its getting fuel, if not ,then its a fuel delivery syndrome, and there is a proses to check for this, if UN familiar with vehicles its a wast of time to try to do it your self, if it not getting spark you need to determine if its the coil ,the wires, the computer, and so on ,proses of elimination, timing may have jumped need a new belt , fuel pump, fuel pump relay , clogged fuel filter, bad gas, don't keep cranking the motor if it does not start within three to four seconds, its not going to, and the next thing after its repaired you will need a starter and maybe a battery so tow to a reliable shop or the dealer and have give you a written estimate only, on whats wrong and that what they say will fix the car, if they can't put in writing then take it some where else, best in this case tow to a Honda dealer and they'll them it has a no start syndrome and want a estimate first , law states they must get you approval for any repairs in writing or OKed by phone, be firm and get it writing , OK take care

It could be timing belt, fuel pump, ignition (no spark), or something with the computer. You have to have compression (timing or cylinder problems) , fuel, and spark
(ignition) to start and run an engine. One of those is missing and all your engine will do is crank, and not start until you kill the battery.

these have a control module for the ignition system,,it sounds like it has went dead on it,,this is how they go out most of the time,,i own a repair shop,,and they usually die after they have been driven,,and cut off,,sometimes they just don't start back,,its pretty east to replace,,follow the wires coming out of the distributor,,and they will lead yo to the control module on it,,there pretty expensive though,,i think around 60 dollars at some places,,maybe more at others,,you might want to have someone check it real good to be sure,,its hard to take a wild guess at it on here,,and that's all any of us can do is guess,,good luck with it,,i hope this helps.

i would first check to make sure your distributor rotor is turning if not you most likely have a broken timing belt. if it is then next test for fire spark tester is safest way to go (cost a couple bucks at parts store ) i check the coil wire if no fire is coming from there then you need to check cool and primary ignition system.if you have fire from there then go to your spark plug wire no spark there means most likely a bad cap or rotor. also do not forget ot make sure you have fuel supply.
to check primary ignition system for no fire problem at least the basics make sure you voltage to coil primary side and you may need to run resistance test on your reluctor and pick up local library has manual you can copy fro diagnostic chart
