DO NOT CUT EATING FOODS!!! What you need to do is eat a balanced breakfast everyday. This stimulated the metabolism early in the morning and gets your body working early. I am a master fitness trainer in the Army and all of the guys who are overweight use this technique. After about 30 days, the pounds start to come off. You should't have to watch your food intake too much. If you use splenda or any other artificial sweetener, you should stop that too.
If all else fails, determine your caloric intake for the day. Do this by taking a number between 12 and 16: 12 being inactive and 16 being active. Be honest with yourself and give yourself a number and multiply it by your weight. That should be what you are taking in per day.
Example: I am really active, and do an hour of work out a day, so i give myself the number 15. I am 165 lbs, so my caloric intake per day is: 15x165=2475. So, to lose weight, I have to eat under 2475 calories per day. You still have to eat, and you shouldn't try to cut down on intake too much at a time. Cut off about 300 calories to begin with and slowly cut it more. This is the old fashion way of doing it, but I would use it as a last resort.
The average healthy persons diet consists of 60-75% carbohydrates, 15-25% protein, and 5-15% fat. If you track your diet, it should be in this ballpark.

12 pounds in three weeks is achieved by cutting the calories down to a minimum. Do NOT go under 1200 or so a day, though. You'll end up with medical issues that go way beyond 12 pounds worth of grief. Lots of veggies, little carbs, no red meat, only grilled or roasted fish and chicken, NO drinking anything but water or green tea. No exercising??? How about walking around with friends at the mall? Anything to get moving. You may get 12 pounds in 3 weeks without exercise, but you might get more in less time if you exercise. Just make sure you do it on a semi-empty stomach so you're not burning the food you just ate but the stored fat cells! It's a common problem. People exercise their butts off only to burn off the meal they just ate or the protein bar they just consumed. Then they wonder why they see no results.
But okay, NO exercise, lots of veggies, NOTHING but water to drink (why add calories in a drink when you can EAT them instead), and I think you'll be alright.

Snack constantly on fruits and veggies apples, bananas, celery, carrots, ect. Eat at least every hour. Drink water whenever you feel empty. Make sure you take vitamins daily.
Eat three regular meals but small portions. If you are snacking properly you shouldn't be that hungry.
You don't have to cut out unhealthy snacks altogether instead use it as a reward for a good day. For example if you follow this new habit for a week reward yourself with a scoop of ice cream. Every thing is portion control
Another good tip is to chew thoroughly. This gives your stomach enough time to tell your brain it's full.
You are sure to see results if you do this.

You know everybody hates exercising to lose weight!!!
I know I get bored after 10 minutes.
What worked for me was don't eat anything white...bread, sugar, salt and so on. Light breakfast, main meal during the day (if you eat a large meal) cut it in half then for dinner fruit.
Now getting back to excises... luckily we had a gym very close to my work so a lunchtime I would spend my 30 minutes on the cross-trainer (or mix it up) Lunch at around 11am (I work in a office so I would eat at my desk) then the gym at 2pm. In two weeks I went down 2 dress sizes. I even have the odd glass of wine. No pain no gain...good luck

Try fasting for only 2 days no more. It will detoxify your body and leave you 7 pounds lighter in 2 days. Every once in a while I try this, 3 times a day drink 8 oz. of fresh squeezed fruit (no banana) or veg juice (or V8 100% veg only 50 cals) and in between lots of water (at LEAST 80 oz. with a squeeze of lemon to help curb appetite) this works for me hope it helps you! :)
if you get too lightheaded or get a bad headache try eating half a banana and if it doesnt help just quit dont ever push yourself

There is this diet called the lemon aid diet. You use 100% real lemon juice,100% maple syrup, cayenne pepper and spring water.You mix 2 table spoons of lemon juice,2table spoons of maple syrup, 1/4 th tea spoon of cayenne pepper and 10 oz of spring water. this is all you have for 10 days no food. After that you do only salads light dressing and grilled foods and veggies no bread. This is the same diet Beyonce did for her new movie she lost like 40 lbs. I did this and lost 35lbs.( Before Beyonce did it that is just how people have started talking about it)

the chart should be:
70% breakfast
20% lunch
10% dinner
that's the easy way to lose 12lbs within 3 weeks.
get the pierce on your tongue, I was lose 10lbs in 1 week when I get my tongue pierced =P
that's the best way to lose 12lbs within 3 weeks.

Eat healthy. Lotsa veggies and fruits! Don't eat fast food!! It is best to eat 4-5 small meals each day instead of 3 regular meals a day.
