Since some Arab influence rubbed off on the Spanish over the several-hundred year occupation, it only seems logical that there would be intermarrying.

Yes, Moorish, to be exact. The Moors were from North Africa and were a mixture of Arab and African blood. Notice how different many Spaniards look from other Europeans?

maybe there was an itermarring but spanish are still spanish and they have their own culture and do not look like Arabians.I have a spanish friend and she is totally different from Arabian culture.
