Does anyone else worry about their baby being okay? I'm 14 weeks, and been to the doctor and heard the babies heartbeat and saw the baby on ultrasound, and everything was great. But this is my first child and I can't help but worry about the baby!

Yes girl yes yes yes!...Its so weird how anything can trigger fear during pregnancy...... As a matter of fact I just finished washing my face and was now wondering if I was bending down too low to the basin ?...because its pretty low and they say you shouldn't bend over, you should squat.....lol
So you are not alone at all....You are very normal....Its that motherly thing kicking in already , we are all concerned about being careful and the baby isn't even here yet...That's a good thing. But just relax and put everything in God's hands....You'll be fine.....Congratulations

I worried constantly about my baby while I was pregnant. I actually wished I could see the Dr. every week just so I knew everything was okay. Just let me say...... It doesn't get any better once the baby is born. Then you'll worry if the baby is breathing. UGH being a mommy is so stressful.

I worried all the time! It got so bad that I would always be calling my mom telling her of any aches and twinges, and I would dream that I kept loosing the baby or leaving it at home after it was born.
But it is completely normal, just try to relax, everything will be fine and your doctors will make sure of that.
I am preg with my 2nd child and surprisingly haven't worried once this time.
Good luck!

I am 9 weeks pregnant and I find myself worrying all the time. Everything is new to us and we don't know what to expect. I was thinking I was worrying too much so I find it helpful to relax and do something I enjoy, like watch a favorite show. Also walking helps get my mind off the worries I often have.

we are like you , but all i can say is that it is human to worry about another human especially if you are going to produce it.
But overhall everything is normal within reason.
if you have doubts don't hesitate asking what might feel like stupid questions to your doctor.
If the doctor is not the talking type, for a first child i would change to a talking type one.
put comfort and information on your side.
you are now a queen and deserve everyones regards and care as you are allowing human kind to continue .
Be kind to yourself and the baby, talk to your baby all the time and you will feel these feelings deaseappear as your baby will feel your presence and vibration of concern.
i hope you feel good.

You are worrying because you are in training to be a mom. Moms worry about their kids. As long as you take care of yourself and follow doctor's orders, the baby should be fine. Keep your chin up and look forward to your little bundle of joy!

You are very normal....remember your body is going through a huge transformation and your hormones are all wacky....therefore, your emotions are all over the place, including worry. Get the book "What to expect when you're expecting" and look at other pregnancy books....this will help eleviate some concerns....
