If the flag was changed but the masses who lived beneath it appeared to live better, happier lives because of it, would you be angry?

kujigafy: Do you feel a geniune connection there? That a change in leadership or the governing body requires a change of flag or vice versa?

um. not if im living a happier, better life. i just don't see the potential causal connection.... do you mean a change in authority or just the colors of the flag??

edit:
what i mean is, when you say change of flag do you mean we fall under the authority of different gov't (ie, an existing flag like Canada's?) - or do you simply mean change the colors from red white and blue to green yellow and poke-dot? and if so, why would either of these lead to better/happier lives for all?

again, if im living a better and happier life because of either of these i don't suppose i would be angry because my life is better and happier - im just not sure how either of these situations will lead to a better and happier life for me.

NO they do not. Until we can all look at a flag of Earth with a sense of pride and stewardship, we are little more than high school cliques and bratty clusters who think they are better than everyone else.

We need a flag for the Planet.
