He was corrupted by his position. I don't remember the exact charge, but it had something to do with fraud and corruption. At least he had the sense to commute all those death sentences to life in prison until DNA tests can be conducted to make sure they're not putting any innocent people to death.
So maybe there is a place for him among the good people.

hes one of the most crooked politicians to grace illinois
basically he took bribes while he was sec of state i think to let illegals get trucking licenses then when some of them realized they couldnt drive and killed people the poo hit the fan for george
