NOTICE HOW THEY SAY MAXIMUM TIRE PRESSURE LISTED ON TIRES IS ***********NOT********** THE PROPER PRESSURE? THAT THE PROPER TIRE PRESSURE IS DIFFERENT FOR EACH CARS AND THAT THEY ARE LISTED INSIDE THE DOORJAMS? BUNCH OF RETARDS.....

Wow, what did they do to you? I agree, the max is not always best. Years ago, car companies put a very low inflation # on the door jams, to help the car ride smooth. I think they've learned the problem with that.
Hey, how about the tire places that won't admit the proper way to rotate tires, either?

Tire pressure IS different on most applications from airplanes all the way down to motorcycles. The tire manufacturer specifies a max cold pressure and it is irrelevant to what the manufacturer "recommends". Handling of the vehicle is greatly effected by the pressure of the tires.
A few examples if you will...
An aircraft tire manufacturer has an established max pressure. Every single aircraft make and model has a specified pressure that they need to be set at. Its not up to the people who make the tire. If say a light single engine aircraft were to land with max pressure that say good year allows, you are guaranteed a bounce when you land.
Lets go to a street bike Moto GP race. The maker of the tire clearly says yeah, you can put X amount of air in to max cold. If you were to put those bike tires up to max cold, there would be riders crashing all over the place.

If you were to set the tire presure to max cold vs the manufacturers recommendations you would be able to feel a night and day difference in handling. Too much air would make the car want to skip over on turns with imperfections where as the recommended tire pressure application would make the car handle better and safer.

This is no mystery. its all figured out by engineers, so before you call a tire shop guy a retard button up and get back on your short bus with max cold tires ;)

the proper tire pressure listed in the tire is the maxium pressure for that tire the tire pressure on the door jam or in your owner manual is the proper pressure for that tire when it is no that vehicle because of several factors in the engineering of the vehicle the net weight of the vehicle, the type of suspension all of this affect the way the car rids and handles
