A friend who's mom's job is working w/ make-up said leaving on mascara at night tears out your eyelashes. Is this true?

No, i sleep in mascara all the time and my eyelashes are completely intact.

airborne dirt and dust powder on your eyelashes then warmth up some eyelash curlers with your hairdryer for 3-5 seconds and then positioned on 2/3 coats of mascara. practice mascara on an identical time as finding downwrads, practice to the desirable and then upwards. If no longer practice sparkling mascara first and then a brown mascara and then a black mascara.

Hair is hair is hair. Eyelashes and eyebrowns will fall out just like head hair. I have really long and a lot of eyelashes and I 95% of the time go to sleep with mascara on...wash my face in the shower...I've never lost more than one here or there. I think you're ok to sleep in mascara.

I do not believe this to be true.
However, leaving the product on your eyelashes can cause damage to them, including but not limited to making them dried out, hence causing breakage. One should remove all make up before retiring for the evening, if you don't do ANYTHING else at all in taking the proper care of your skin.

well, sometimes. but it's still best to remove it at night because flakes from the mascara can go into your eye while you sleep and actually scratch it. i mean if you forget one night its not like all your eyelashes will fall out and your eyes will be completely scratched, but you should just be aware of those risks.

First of all, who would want to sleep with bat crap on their eyelashes? It doesn't make your eyelashes fall out unless you rub your eyes in your sleep. So, the answer for you could really only be answered by someone that has observed you sleeping.

It's definitely not good for them. Try Neutrogena Clean Lash Tint, it's a clean and gentle way to darken lashes daily without mascara. You can also sleep wearing it.

no it doesnt. but if u put on masacara every single day..... ur eyelashes will just fall out. i know this woman who put on mascara everyday her eyelashes fell out. but if u leave on at night it doesn't tear out ur eyelashes. its ok. it wont do anything! Try it!

ummm no not unless u rub them i have really long eye lashes and i dont sleep with mascara thats the number one way 4 pimples and eye infections

No, it doesnt literally tear them out, it just weakens your eyelashes and causes them to break.
