how do you burn movies downloaded on a DVD+R cds?

Can u burn it on a DVD+R? if yes Step by step please

I do mine on a DVD Recorder & you got to put it in then it guides you thru everything, it will compress it..then your able to record

ok first you go to your burner program and choose what you whant like cds of data discs,then chose what kind of dvd you are using then put what you want on the playlist/file popup and say burn it will compress test disc then burn.
