Good thing about animal experimentation?
1. Potentially dangerous items (such as drugs) can be tried on animals without risking human life.
2. Some animals are more prone to certain diseases than humans. It is more cost effective and easier to control experimentation with these animals than to find a series of humans with the same problem and put them in a controlled environment (it would cost airfare, housing, food, compensation, etc, not to mention the cost of finding a group of people with the same issue).
3. Animals can be bred so that they are more consistant than humans. For instance, humans have a ton of factors that effect their health...weight, types of foods eaten, prior drug use, family history of disease....all factors that could effect how a drug or treatment work. Scientists can restrict how a money is raised to that it eliminates many of these factors.
Hope this helps

While I mostly do not support animal experimentation, technically, there are some benefits to it. Try looking it up on Google or any other search engine; you should be able to come up with a lot of results. Anyways, the main point of animal experimentation is to find out the affects of certain products and substances on animals in order to know what will be harmful to humans. Some people would tell you that if there were no animal experimentation, people would be burning their skin when they put on lotion and going blind when they accidentally get shampoo in their eyes, although there are other options in experimentation. Scientists can test things on cells, which is cruelty-free.

No, they do no longer look to be. you could habit learn on animals with the help of observing them and recording their habit without becoming experiments to accomplish or installation assessments to do. this is comprehensive interior the wild with the help of scientists for all time. Animal learn is meant to income relating to the animal. Animal sorting out and animal experimentation are meant to strengthen products or tactics for use on people.

It allows some medical procedures to be "perfected" before attempting them on humans. For example, a heart transplant.
