LSU will defeat Auburn. The defense is so powerful that quarterbacks run for their life. Look at the stats. When was a touchdown scored on LSU last? The LSU Tigers have plenty of depth in all key positions. All three of their quarterbacks would be starters in other schools. We'll get past Auburn. Troy Smith had better hope he doesn't have to play against them. I'm not taking anthing away from Auburn though. They are a good team. By the way, How many teams in the top ten are from the SEC? Think about it.

Yes LSu will win. A close game but with the Number one defense in the SEC and no 2 ranked offense it is to much for auburn to handle. Kenny Irons is a non factor against a LSU defense with this much speed and strength. Russell has approved his touch on the ball. LSu has a very deep and talented backfield, and ask Cox if hes looking forward to another meeting with LSU's blitz packages. I think hes scared and still a mediocre player in the toughest league in the nation.

LSU is going to run all over Auburn. This is the same LSU team that had Joseph Addai last year at runningback, however, they are looking as power as ever in all aspects of their game, including their running game.
Auburn is going to lose, though not by much.

Prediction: LSU 27 Auburn 24

No way. This will be a very very good game - the first time two teams ranked this high have played in Jordan Hare in 15 years. Auburn takes it -not by much -but a win is a win.

This will be a knock down drag out war between two pretty evenly matched and ranked teams. I give a slight edge to Auburn because they are at home.
