i dont know how much i would measure at 33weeks.any nurses here.

not sure, but he's measuring your uterus size, it's to make sure the baby is develpoing at a certain and constant rate.

Basically they are taking measurments to see if you are having an average growth week to week. Its a way for them to track how big the baby is getting and how much weight you are gaining. There is no real "norm" being that all women are different.

you should measure bigger than you did last time! theres no way to beable to tell you what you will measure we dont know your last mesurement and we dont know how bigga girl you are. a originally thin girl could measure quite differntly than a originally heavy girl!
they measure you each visit to make sure that the baby is still growing!

Im confused... the other day you asked a question and you were 37 weeks... ? Did you ask the Dr when he was measuring you why is he doing that?

You should mesure at or around the amount of weeks you are. eg, if you are 33 weeks, you should measure 32-35, and so on. It estimates babies growth

THe Dr. just does that to make sure your uterus and the baby are growing at the expected rate.

depends on the size of the baby but the top of your uterus should be about 5 inches above your belly button...aprox 42cm in length
