Call your OB if you haven't already regarding the light brown spotting. While bright red blood is the really scary stuff, this is still old blood and they need to know about it.
Don't worry about the lack of symptoms yet, it is still early. I remember feeling that same way, and then all of the sudden, BAM, morning sickness beyond belief for four months straight, horrible morning sickness, constantly. So you may be having some symptoms any day now.
As long as your hcg levels show significant rising (and they have to do more than one blood check for them in order to know if they're rising enough), you're okay.
If they only checked you once for hcg levels, request a second blood test to compare the results to make sure that the hcg levels are rising at the healthy rate. This will answer your question.
Good luck, but i think you're just fine. Get those levels checked and compared.

Your spotting was most likely due to the doctor's exam It can happen after sex too because there is so much blood in your cervix now.
That is a good level...when you miscarry, they start to drop right away.
I didn't have pregnancy symptoms too early on, some people never have anything.
I think you should call your doctor and explain you are very scared. I was too. I would ask for another HcG and maybe an ultrasound too....just so you can feel better.
I'm 18 weeks and I've had no problems and I'm scared to death.
My brother is 50, so my mom says she's been scared for 51 years. It is part of the terrible wonderful part of being a mom, like being in love.
I'm sure you're ok, it is normal to be scared.

First off why worry if you don't have symptoms/signs? Not everyone gets them... some nothing at all... some only early on, etc... its silly to worry about something that might or might not happen. Now to the spotting... was that only after the internal exam (because that does happen) or is it still happening? Although the light brown spotting usually means old blood if its still happening I would call my Dr.
as for hcg levels ( I think it was on the american baby site) 6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 so you are in the range... These questions are better answered by your Dr... thats what they are there for... Good Luck

It's very normal. Take it from someone who had three kids and three very different pregnancies. My first I didn't even show until I was 7 months. My second I did bleed for a day nothing too significant but it is very frightening. My third I was sick before I even knew I was pregnant. Just roll with it and enjoy the easiness of it while you have it. Of course, if at any time you are afraid just make an appointment and go see you doctor.

Nothing to worry about, be happy that you aren't experiencing some of these symptoms. I was so excited at 5 weeks because I wasn't queasy. Now at 9 weeks I wish I was back at 5 weeks again so I could keep some food down. Many women (and they make me a little jealous) never experience symptoms till later on. Just because you aren't feeling anything now doesn't mean that you won't feel something later. My sister didn't get morning sickness till 8 weeks, but it hit her hard then.

Every woman's pregnancy is different. Some have severe symptoms and some have hardly any. I would check out www.babycenter.com. There are tons of awesome women on there. Search for birth clubs and find the one that is for your due date. I had spotting with my first pg and I now have a healthy 4 year old. Good luck!

Okay firstly, the fact that you haven't felt anything doesn't mean that you can't start getting sick. But listen if I were you I'd be really grateful right now, and hope that it stays that way. Everyone is different, some women only experience mild symptoms...Good luck!...And if you have concerns, speak to your doctor he will tell you the same thing.

Be glad that ur feeling so good! I didnt have any symptoms at all. in fact i didnt know i was pregnant until i was 11weeks along! THe spotting was probably caused by the internal US i did that when i had mine and the spotting can also be caused by pelvic exams that your obgyn does!
Congrats on your baby!
