how can i be sure that my video card is doing well. honestly im not really familiar to computers, im still learning.

Right click on "My Computer" choose properties. Under "Hardware" choose "Device Manager" ... If there is no yellow circle besde a driver then you are okay. If so just click "Update Driver" and choose to search on the internet and it will find it for you.

There's a very good, and free, website to test not only your video card, but all components of the pc. Just "follow the bouncing ball" when you visit the below website, and PC Pitstop will do all the checking of your system and give you a very nice report on it. Good luck.

If your not having any problems with color game play still looks good and anything else, then its still working properly.

Dont really need to update the driver. Thats a once in a blue moon or until you start having a few issues.

START - > RUN - > TYPE dxdiag
When the box comes up click display and test with the buttons in the middle of the page.
