Freshly scented clothing while washing can be achieved by using a fabric softener such as Downey. You can buy this really cool ball that fills with Downey and releases at the right moment in the wash.
For drying, I would use a couple dryer sheets (not just one) to saturate the clothing.
While ironing, I wouldn't use anything until I was done ironing, and then spritz some fabric refresher (look in the detergent aisle). It's in a can. It's commonly next to the wrinkle reducer spray.
When packing? Take a few dryer sheets and layer clothes around those, or like one user said, use some Febreze. They have a great new mint scent that is just awesome!!

Hi, I have a routine of washing with Ariel (good stuff) & watered down fabric conditioner as this helps to keep the fabric plush for a little longer. (fabric softener is not good for some fabrics as it decreases the pile)
Hang out in fresh air rather than a dryer.
Place in drawers with posh/expensive or flower/fruit scented soap bar. Soap in pockets or inside shoes, handbags etc; if in wardrobe.
This works a treat and you can use the soap afterwards, just replace when you feel like a change.

Washing clothes is of course an essential but suits and some expensive fabrics do not take kindly to a daily wash or regular washing regime, take for example suit material, Mohair, wool etc.
Always hang up straight after taking off, take the bottom of the trouser or skirt and jacket and shake rigorously to remove creases and hang out side to air. Before hanging up take a few sprigs of lavender, Rosemary or other fragrant herbs and put it into he pockets. The old way and still the best. Try lemon geranium

Just detergent for washing. Fabric softener sheets when drying. Linen water spray when ironing. When packing for a trip, fabric softener sheets which double as static remover from clothes and hair.

Bold All in One powder (the blue or the green one), Lenor fabric conditioner (yellow Summer or turquoise Febreeze ones) or Comfort fabric conditioner (yellow Fast Dry or Purple ones) and Bounce tumble dryer sheets.
I pick some lavender from my garden and put some in an old 'popsock' and keep it in my drawers and wardrobe.
That's my formula! I so love the smell of fresh laundry!!!!

Use a laundry detergent and a fabric softener that has a fresh sent, then you can use a wrinkle release when you iron, and take a travel size febreze or similar product with you for trips.

Two Bounce dryer sheets in the dryer. Then fold promtly and put away or pack right away. You could also put an unused dryer sheet in the drawer or suitcase. That should keep them fresh.
