NOPE , not a single META tab works with Google!!!!!

After said that!

You need to list max pages to google index, Right?

Here is SURE WAY!

USe Google SITEMAP and submit it to them!

Have used it many times to many sites and it works!
After all Google itself suggest this only way for FAST AND COMPLETE SITE INDEXING!

Good luck

Well...none of these questions really answer anything. Meta tags are dead. The description and title tag are the only ones that are of use. Sometimes the keyword tag, but that depends on the engine. Title tags are very important and must contain your key phrase. Is your content optimized? Is the anchor text to your site reflecting your keywords? Do you have H tags? As mentioned by others, without more information it is hard to know exactly what is happening. One of the things that is effecting several of our clients is that they have plenty of links but they are mostly from low Page Rank pages and therefore the Rank of their page is still low. Try getting links from higher ranking sites.

Honestly, I could only speculate without seeing your site. If you are delving into highly competitive waters, page 3 is not bad. Meticulously analyze the sites ranking above you. Then, beat the pants off them one by one. It's worth it especially if you are conducting e-commerce and it's your livelihood. Best wishes.

maybe your keywords are the same with other sites, so it is interferential to your site. you can try to post your link at directory or google keywords, but it seems that they are not free.
