does anyone know if they are making a newer version of aim for mac's?

aim 4.7 was released over 5 years ago and macs rule im on one right now, i have the new mac so if i use boot camp to run windows the ni can but i switched from a windows and i like aim better than ichat

Why don't you just use iChat? It comes with all Macs and can chat with anyone on AIM. It fully supports AIM protocols, even video chat, direct connection, file transfer, etc.
