i guess they've made some pretty nasty remarks about not being sad that he died and how he exploited animals. maybe someone needs to drown these people in vats of tofu or something. it's bad enough that they throw red paint on innocent folks. who cares if they're wearing fur! violently throwing paint on someone is not okay. and now mocking somebody who has died is WRONG! the guy was from australia for goodness sakes! it's the freakin' outback! and i remember clearly that he would say DON'T DO THIS AT HOME. i'll never support peta.

people who care more about animals then their fellow humans have got it completely backwards. don't get me wrong, i love animals. and peta is really getting annoying more than inspiring. they should take humble lessons from ghandi and practice non-violent protest. laying naked is offensive, throwing paint is violent. saying degrading remarks about another human life is just plain ignorance. it's not like steve irwin was a factory farm owner. he rehabilitated countless animals. so his personality might have been a little excited. his heart was in the right place though.

my last bit...... i would like to add, that unfortunately, animal cruelty is everywhere. if you are going green and riding a bike to work, there are animalproducts in the rubber tires. if you take pictures, it's in the film(negatives)it's in so many things that we use on a daily basis. you really cannot escape it. so i guess peta has a really big uphill battle that i don't think they will win in this manner.

PETA (People who Eat the Tasty Animals!) those people are sick idiots who are hypocrits! They say hunters and people who eat meat, wear fur, or do all this in their view "cruel" things to animals, by taking their land or killing them! Well PETA members drive cars, the cars pollute the land, it might get that pesky squirelle or pigeon sick from all those fumes, possibly a cute little critter as well. Not to mention humans, but PETA doesn't care about humans, they would rather protect animals that would harm them if their natural instincts called for it. The PETA members live in houses also! Shame on you, you PETA scumbags! Your'e house is taking up the land, it is in the way of animals making their home or feeding areas. You hypocrits, you anti-human, save all the animals, that don't give two craps about you!
I can see protecting animals from real cruelty, and Steve Irwin seem to of had a very passionate adoration towards saving them and keeping them safe. I respect him in that, but he was dealing with nature, nature's animals. They have natural instincts, they will fight back, they will survive, even if being saved. Sad to see him go, but he was taking a gamble each time he grabbed hold onto a crocodile, reached for a poisonous snake, or save a Stingray. What is the real horrible news out of this, is now Australia is now killing stingrays because of this. It isn't the stingrays fault, that stingray reacted out of natural animalistic instincts. But what PETA is doing, no one cares about them anyways! Those bums, scum of the Earth. PETA go down to Australia and save those stingrays from being killed! That is worth complaining for!

“It comes as no shock at all that Steve Irwin should die provoking a dangerous animal,” says PETA’s Dan Mathews. “He made a career out of antagonizing frightened wild animals, which is a very dangerous message to send to kids.” Does Irwin’s career as a naturalist impress the animal-rights group? Says Mathews “If you compare him with a responsible conservationist like Jacques Cousteau, he looks like a cheap reality TV star.”
...I've lost my interest in PETA now. Irwin was a unique caring idol for many. PETA should be more respectful.

emphasis on the "stressful." Why can no longer they factor to scriptures like Genesis 18:sixteen-19:29, Ezekiel sixteen:40 8-50, Jude 7, Romans a million:26-27, a million Corinthians 6:8-10, Colassians 3:5-6, and a million Timothy a million:9-10 extremely than battling like playground babies and spewing lies like, "God hates fags," or that he's happy while they die (i.e. the Westboro Baptist Church). If that have been actual then Ezekiel 18:23 and 18:32, John 3:15-17, 2 Peter 3:8-9, and Romans 8:31-39 could ought to be fake. :/ fantastically stressful...no longer humorous

I'm against animal abuse.. I mean who is for it but some of these PETA people are out of control. Valuing an animals life over a humans is ridiculous... which I think Steve Irwin was also but it is still sad that he died and I feel for his kids...

Okay, well I haven't heard that , Where did you hear or see that too?
Steve didn't exploit animals he raised awareness about them,
I actually help out with PETA.. i will be dropping my support if you can confirm that
They are probally Jealous that Steve Irwin raised more awareness over animals then they did, They show dead animals on to raise awareness, Steve shows live animals doing what they love, to raise awarness on how we should protect them, IF PETA can only get people to care for animals by showing the half dead and dying, They need to seriously GROW UP and let Terri Bindi Bob and close family co-workers and friends mourn

I am sick of PETA!!!!!!!
I heard those comments too, and I was so disgusted! They should just drown or something...
Steve Irwin is an amazing man, and no one cares for animals more than he does. All he did was get up close to educate us about animals, he ever hurt one!!!!! How can someone say such things about such a sweet man?!
This really angers me.

You might think that Peta would support someone trying to educate others on the dangers of tampering with wildlife. They may not have appreciated his methods, but theirs are not so sound either. Big stunts like paint throwing and posing nude just seem to garner publicity, not make someone not wear fur. Sad, huh?

I don't know who or what PETA is but all of the people I know here in Australia thought he was an embarrassment, this has been a very hot topic here until Peter Brock, a race car driver was killed, and now no one cares...
