I'm not talking about clothing style, I'm talking about physically. I'll be playing the role of a Japanese school girl in a play. But I have to take drastic measures to look "more Japanese..." I want to fit my role perfectly, this is imporant. Well, I already have the eye shap and color, hair color too... My skin is a bit darker then theirs.. how can I make it more pale? Does Hydroger Peroxyde help for a long time? And putting aside methos to accentuate my cheekbones, are there any diets I can take so my facial features are well-defined? Basically, just give me any tips you can! My goal is to look 100% Japanese and don't tell me this isn't impossible. Thanks ^_^ And yes, I'm trying too hard. Only post if you have something positive to bring!

Pull your hair back as hard as you can. If the role calls for hair that isn't pulled back, opt for a wig. Pulling the hair back at the temples will help to slant your eyes. Also, you can get a kind of gummy glue that is used for applying fake scars and such for Halloween. Use this to create a more accentuated fold at the corners of your eyes.
The eyes are the biggest difference that you will come across, besides the size of the nose. If you have a small nose, you'll have no problem, but larger noses are more of a Western trait.
For the skin, I suggest just a light powder or light white makeup to do the job. Don't overdo the white makeup, it can become caked on and flake off under the hot lights during the performace.
All you have to do now is get all the mannerisms down. Ha!
Gambatte! (good luck!)

If it's for drama, it's more the way you move, pose, jesture, rather than copying the ethnicity.
A good stage makeup cake will make you look paler (but this like a reverse blackface..i'd be careful if I were you)
No hydrogen peroxide doesn't work -don't try it'll just make your skin thicker and rougher permenently.
When you stand, turn in your knees, goofy big smile, peace signs . Try to see what regular japanese school girls act like in movies.
Just stick with a liquid black eyeliner, long fake eyelashes and maybe red rouge. It's in the delivery, not the makeup.

I think it's great that you want to get so into your role! But I wouldn't use anything on your skin to make it change color! and i wouldn't worry about trying to change the shape of your face physically. You can do amazing things with make up and shadowing!!!!! Your just going to have to play around with it, are you doing your own make-up for the play? or is there a make-up artist? Because I think your drama teacher should already be aware of how to make you appear japenese, and you should talk to them about it, you never know they might already have some great ideas in mind.

If you apply black eyeliner above you top lashes and draw a little bit outside your eyes towards your brow bone it will make your eyes look more slanted. With a black pencil you can also draw a small line in the outer corner of your eyes where your lashes meet.

Go to your beautician and reveal to them about your problem to make yourself look more Japanese. Your beautician can help you more on this matter, believe me. Then proceed to play a Japanese role in your school activity.

you could no longer precisely gain the full eastern look considering which you're no longer eastern. i assume you should play up on the makeup somewhat, yet maximum women I see attempting to look asian fail. My advice is to be your self - American is a vast term, "people" are no longer all white, they're black, asian, mexican, and latino. they arrive in all sizes and styles and seems.

when you pull your hair up into a bun, pull it as tight as you can stand it at your temples so your eyes will become slanted.
