Do you have an adult that rides that would supervise you?

Who will maintain the bike and replace parts when needed?

Have you shown responsibilty with other expensive toys your mom has bought you?

Have you taken, or will you take the rider safety course when you get the bike?

Who will you ride with, what legal areas are there to ride that you can get to?

If you don't live right next to a legal riding area, who will transport your bike for you?

If you have good answers to all these questions, then your mom may be willing to look into it.

Riding a motorcycle is just like driving a car - you have to be at least as responsible and reliable as a 16 year old who owns a car.

Riding can be dangerous, if the rider doesn't know the risks, and rides over their head.

Kids who ride unsupervised are going to get in trouble - either in a crash, or riding where they shouldn't be. Get dialed in on where you will ride and who will supervise you, then ask your mom about buying the bike.

i don't know because am a mom and my son also wants a dirt bike but he has not convinced me to get him one.they are very dangerous. but this is what he said to me. they are safe he want drive it without a helmet. he want go fast until he gets the hang of it. it is cheap on gas. it is alot of fun. my brother bought his 6 year old son a small dirt bike. he has already hit a tree and gone over the front of the bike. he didn't get hurt.
