Cinderella?

Cinderella?
Ok so this is how it goes. As we all know that everyone has seen cinderella, and we know that Disney doesnt provide us with all the information. I need to write in a point of view of one of the characters that are in the story. I can deviate the story but i need to change it up some. The character i need to write in the point of view is the GUARDs that are standing outside of the ball. It would be great if i got some help. Thanks Guys!

Look up (or go to the library and pick up) a copy of The Brothers Grimm version of Cinderella. It's a quite different story than the one popularly told to children, and it might give you a different view on how to write up your assignment. ;)

I'm not going to write it for you, but I can make suggestions.

Try getting into the guard's head and seeing things from his viewpoint. What is he used to seeing? What would he see with the prince? Or that girl that just ran out missing a glass slipper at midnight? What would he think of the prince being bound and determined to find that girl that just left him there?

Good luck, and happy writing! It's not often anyone thinks of Cinderella from a minor character's viewpoint.

Well, guess you could start by having them grumble about the rich folks inside. Just think about how you would feel if you were a guard at the Academy Awards. And this person got in without a proper invitation....and then you got raked over the coals by the boss cause you didn't know her name....something like that.
