Hello,

I'm not sure how good you are with PC's, but I had a friend who had a similar problem with his system. I told him the only way he could get rid of the virus was to boot up in "SAFE MODE" (this keeps any exe files from launching on startup), then he could go to the path registry where he found the bad file/virus, then he deleted it, and shut down and rebooted. Problem solved. You might give that a try. Good Luck! :o)

Restoring your system to another date wont work. System32 files are not really the files to play with when deleting or even attempt thinking about deleting them. The problem with viruses in the .dll files is that the viruses will make a file and it named something that really sounds legit so if fools you into thinking its a legit file. The danwhd.dll does look fishy. The other one Im not for sure on. Another note if you keep getting a new .dll file that cannot be removed or you cannot find the previous dll file that nortan couldnt remove then you got some real issues.

Restart your computer and hit F8 for the Advanced Startup features. And select Safe Mode with Networking. Windows loads and go download from grisoft.com AVG Free Edition and update it. Then run a scan and see what it finds and if it can quarantine it or delete it. Then reboot and go into windows like you would regularly and do another scan in windows as a backup scan.

Any questions feel free to send a message.

First and foremost, do not trust all answers here on Yahoo! Answers. People who are giving you sites to "remove" your virus may ( not intentionally ) give you a virus. Those programs such as SuperAntiSpyware and Avari are malware in disguise. To keep you system secure, research the programs instead of frantically installing all programs to get rid of the virus. Now here are some things you can use. Once again, if you do not trust me, research them.

* Before starting, restart your computer and tap the F8 key to boot up in safe mode. Try Norton there. Scan there if it gets rid of it, great. If not then do the following:

1. Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com. It is a site with the best online antivirus scanner from Trend Micro.

2. Scan it if it removes your problem. great if not continue with these steps.

3. Go to www.mcafee.com and find the free online scanner.

4. Go to www.bitdefender.com and try their scanner.

5. If none of the online scanner get rid of the problem, go to www.free-av.com and install AntiVir which is a great, free, antivirus.

6. At this point, if your virus is still not gone, then you have to resort to heavy artilary with a trained professional. Ill give you the basic things you will need then follow onto www.bleepingcomputer.com and post your HJT log there. Ill show you how to do that.

- Search HiJack This
- Install it and go to www.bleepingcomputer.com
- Find the appropriate section and post it there.
- A professional will help you out.

If you'd rather not use this method then there is one, ultimate, virus remover that will get rid of all viruses. You know what that is? A system reformat. System reformat wipes everything out of your hard drive. Note that this will make it how you jut bought your computer with no programs of yours installed. To do this, either

A. Use the recovery CD that came with your computer.
B. When you first start up your computer, tap the F10 and follow onscreen instructions.

If you have Windows Goto http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx Download the Window Defender (bata 2).
Then here what to do.
Run the scan then

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
