If I make a short film about myself, how can I catch viewers attention in the first 2 minutes?

Question

I am making a documentary about myself, who I am, my family life, and what hobbies and activities I participate in. As borring as this sounds, how can I make this as interesting as possible, especially the first minute or 2? Any interesting facts or topics do you think I should discuss?
Also, I have limited movie editing material - or really none at all. I'm more interested about content rather then special effects. Thank you.

its all,about suspense.
trying to get people to stay but giving the best in the first 2 minutes will keep them for just that 2 minutes.
if, on the other hand you create a mystery surrounded by a few facts, they are likely to stay untill the mystery is revealed.

Try using that INXS idea, of flashing white signs with words written on it, to the beat of your favorite song....

Like, tell part of your story in signs that you hold up
Or, do it against a background of silence
"I"
"Grew"
"Up"
"In"
(all signs)
then say where, show pictures from that city, with sound or music
then flash some more signs

You know, do it opposites which will be very attention getting.
Euither signs have music and nothing else does, or, signs have silence and then the rest has sound.
Either way, that will fix people's eyes on the screen to 'see what comes next'.....

If only Jen would have listened to me. I have always wondered why Jen ran so much. I told her not to run off the end of the cruise ship. She wouldn't listen to me.

Camera shows the hospital where Jen was born.

e.g. you could get footage from your elementary school, etc.all the way up to the present day.
