Four years of undergraduate education

Four years of medical school

Three year residency in OB/GYN

Start now, upper level math and science classed. Volunteer at a local clinic. Hook up with an OB/GYN and learn about the lifestyle... it's not glamorous.

At age 14...you should research what an ob/gyn does. it can be interesting to a point...but can be a profession where sometimes you have to give bad news as well as the good news. I am not a dr but I do know that the medical carreer has it's bad points as well as it's good points. it's just like any profession..except peoples lives and minds are in your hands. Be ready to tell the truth and be ready to accept the dissapointments as well as the accomplishments...any medical field is hard...this one is especially hard...good luck

I'm not sure how long it takes, but you should definately take as many biology, health, and medicine courses that are offered at your high school. Maybe volunteer at a hospital. Simply ask your doctor. They may not be ob/gyn, but they know how to prepare for med school. Good luck with your dreams!

You should take science related courses in high school like biology, chemisty. physics and math as well. then during high school you would need to get invloved in some sort of voulanter activity , maybe at a local hospital.

After this you would go to college for four yrs to complete your undergraduate studies.
then four yrs medical school.
then three years residency as an OBGYn

a total of 11 yrs but if you are determined to succeed that shouldn't be a problem.

Good luck and all the best
