No, really: If you can't shut down Windows (and I'm sure you're not running a Unix here) then hold down the power-on button for about seven seconds.

Should shut down. Press the power-on again and it'll reboot.

But, seriously, get an IBM ThinkPad. Dual boot Windows Pro and Red Hat. Take control of your digital destiny.
