Yes , generally the best thing I have found are rings , I find a lot off older silver coins as well , never a cache of old coins , but I get out regularly and do farily well, nobody that is seirious about it does it to get rich , finding good stuff is a reward yes and it makes you feel good , but something about just being out there and doing your thing is what most have grown to love , researching old sites is a real fun part as well , the history portion and finding good sites to hunt is what its really all about for me .... I found a 1861 seated quarter last month .......

no maybe just a knife that looks like it came from the native americans and a bibi gun out of bullets what a rip off huh

I find gold allot. ................. Coors gold
I did find a very small gold heart, one side hand painted, no idea of value, if any. 1918 quarter.
mostly found a way to get outside and relax
