I think it would be suitable for a 12 or 13 year old not to go trick-or-treating. That age Trick-or-treating may seem baby-ish or whatever, so they may not want to go. On the other hand, some 12 year olds like going trick-or-treating for the fun of dressing up. It really depends on the child themselves wether or not they are too "old" or "mature" to go trick-or-treating. I stopped when i was about 12 or 13ish..

Halloween is my Birthday and I'll be 30 this year.Im not sure if I'll get the opportunity to go out Trick-or-Treating but Id love to do it still. The best holiday is the one that you go out to peoples houses and get good things to bring home and enjoy. It brings a sense of community and fun for everyone when you can/do trust the neighbors and other children. This is indeed a day that must never end no matter what the age of the Trick-orTreater!

Trick-or-treating and Halloween are ageless! If you have lost the spirit of the holiday, you have lost your youth. Halloween is a spectacular opportunity...it teaches children that being others is never preferable over being themselves.

87. haha, just kidding. I'd say it's different in different citys. In my city, no one but little kids go trick-or-treating. Then, in my friends city, teen agers t-o-t. But I'd say that 13 is a good cut off age.

They should quit at about 11 or 12. Then pick up where they left off at around 30 something with their own kids.
