Scrapbooking, I enjoy looking at memories, then finding creative ways to show them off. A story with the pictures instead of 100's of pictures put in a book and friends might have no clue as to where or what the picture is about

Building Plastic Models (Aircraft & Ships) and now Model Railroading.
Why do enjoy it... I started when I was about 7yrs old and have kept going the last 35 years. To me it's nice to take a kit or drawing... research, build, and in the end have something recognizable.
I've built every ship I flew off in the Navy, every aircraft I flew with the Navy, as well as each TYPE of aircraft in the US Navy while I served (23 different planes).
Now I do the Railroading for similar reasons...

I love papercrafting. Any kind, really. I just love making beautiful things. I also enjoy jewelry making and playing with clay. It can be fun, relaxing and a challenge as well.

I like pottery. It's fun to take a lump of clay and make a cup or bowl or plate out of it. I enjoy making something that's both useful and decorative.

Fresh water catch & release fishing in the california sierras lakes and streams. Why? Because it's both relaxing and a challenge.

I enjoy making knives. It is very good therapy and helps me unwind from a long day or week at work.

i love knitting!!!
because its easy to learn and you can do it anywere! in the car, at church, at home, at camp, in bed, at school!!! scarves are the easiest to start out with, and size 8 needles. at least they work the best for me. :) i also recommend the book " knitting without tears" it'll help you get started and has alto of easy beginner projects for you to start on.
but if you've already tried knitting and failed, crochet! its alto easier for most people to begin with. :)
