We attacked a country without links to terrorism, and created a new crop of terrorists there.

Read or listen to, "Armed Madhouse" by Greg Palast.
Then think about your question again.
ARE we really fighting a war on terror? What are the exact American Interests which our soldiers are dying for?
Is it any more effective than the war on drugs?
Did you know we have more people in prison than we have farming?

Who is really making the decisions? Do you think George W Bush is actually leading much of anything, or following a plan from someone else?

Nope!

War on Terrorisim is like fighting a ghost war and you dont know who your enemy is at any time, and they could be anywhere. You know what I mean?

It's ridiculous that we as Americans for some reason think we can win this, but the truth is we really cant and we have to protect our Country and ourselves first here at home before we go fighting some " war on terror "

There is always going to be radical, violent people who want to be destructive any way that they can & if there is a will there is a way. ( as we see now w/ the terrorist bombings everyday - these people do not care if they live or die and they are willing not only to kill themselves but also others with them. ) That is an enemy we have never dealt with before and we need to wake up and tell Bush to go get a freakin brain already!!!

How many Billions were spent in Iraq and Afghanistan ??? I know its an unreal number. So I guess you have to ask your self . how many people could you have paid out of poverty in Afghanistan and Iraq with that money ??You have to consider that the salary is about 17 bucks American a month for a military officer in those countries. You could put the whole dam country on the US payroll for a hundred years and come out cheaper.

Other then pay a thousand to help them out of poverty and turn them away from crime and hate, We will spend a million to make the problem worse. I fail to see the worth in that.

sending our soldiers to a foreign land to fight and kill people they don't even know, who didn't bomb our country. all this without a solid foundation for cause to invade their country, destroy their government, and create further turmoil in a region that is volatile enough without our interference.
it's the republican way.
