It will probably come back no matter what we do. They want to kill us more than they want to live.

Iraq does give our enemy something else to do, so it is likely that it helps.

Yes it would. If we bring our troops home from Iraq right now before it settles down over there then it will certainly come back to American soil. The Al-Quiad will regroup make a plan that will be just as bad as 9/11 or worse and implement it and then we probably wouldn't be able to bounce back. I have faith in our country don't get me wrong but I just don't think we could handle another attack right now or even three years from now. We just are not strong enough even with our forces home.

Well, I can see my opinion will be different from most already. I think that if we pull out now, the different ethnic groups over there will be so busy fighting each other, as they are now, that they won't have time or the resources to come over here. There will always be terrorist factions, including domestic, don't forget that. There will always be someone/something somewhere who wants to bring down the U.S. It's always been that way and it always will be. No country is safe from terrorism, especially the U.S.

Whether we do, or not, it's just a matter of time before we're fighting a war here on American soil.

We brought our troops home too early during the first bush administration! Then we had several attacks around the world..hush hush Clinton...we know...you can't even hide the fact you got head in the oval office...let alone the bombing of the US embassies around the world!

Nope. I don't think any of the terrorist organizations would come to US. Simply because the Iraq, whoever we fight will lost there advantage of the terrain.
How would they invade US? Crashing planes into key buildings? Suicide Bombers?

Would what conflict continue? Oh you mean Saddam hid his weapons of mass destruction here in the US. Ingenious.

Maybe, maybe not. Whose to say that it won't while the troops are over there now? Just because it hasn't, doesn't mean it won't.
