yes, i love my country.
i live in the west highlands of scotland and it's amazing here. the scenery, the people, the history, the culture....all of it.
yes, of course there are exceptions. especially in some of the bigger towns and cities, but even then...i love it here.
the countryside here is very rugged...loads of munros (mountains over 3,000ft), lochs, glens and spectacular scenery. our wildlife is fantastic too: deer, eagles, ospreys, otters etc all spring to mind.
and the only dangerous creature here is the adder, which you rarely see. yay!
not much in the way of sandy beaches right enough, and as for skinny dipping....brrrrrr!

My country is Germany. Growing up I can't say I loved it much, it was just the place where I happened to live. I left there almost 9 years ago, and since then have learnt to really appreciate it. When I visit home now I appreciate things I took for granted, or didn't even pay attention to, a lot more. I guess it's true what they say : You don't know what you've got till it's gone. I visit my hometown once a year, and it is such a beautiful place, full of history and special memories. My family still lives there, so it truly feels like I'm coming home every time I visit. For the past five years I've always had my husband with me whenever I went back there. Being at my mom's place, surrounded by my family and my husband by my side.... I feel pure happiness and completely at peace with the world.
Another place that holds a very special place in our hearts is Canada. A beautiful place full of wonderful people.

I love scotland, Inverness, the islands in the River Ness, the A9 road Inverness to Perth. Chasing Trains from Inverness to Avimore and Fort William to Mallaig.
I made be sad but at least I dont need to burn many tons of Av Gas to get there.

I used to love my country and I would like to love it again.
Bring back more family values rather than the best economy fuelled by ever increasing taxes. Why do we have to be so greedy in this world? Lets all start living rather than existing.

Yes I do. Although we've made mistakes, I do love my country. I live in San Diego, CA, which is considered to be a tourist hotspot. I love this place because I live near it. There's lots to do and it's hard to get bored.

The beach! I love to walk on the beach, any beach. The sound of the ocean just brings me such excitement. It is so romantic at night with the moon so huge shinning over the water. It is so majestic.

I LOVE my country. I hate most of the society and all of the leadership.
And today: I REMEMBER. God Bless all who sacrificed their lives. Rest In Peace forever, all.
