I was in 4th grade, and I was in math class at my elementry school. The day was a normal day: My teachers lecturing, the recess activities, and everything. We hadnt recieved any information. So then, on the school bus home, me and my friend overheard some talking, but we didnt know what was happening. Then, at home, I learned the news: The planes crashed into the twin towers and the pentagon. At first, me being an idiot 9 year old, wondered what the big deal was if no one died. I was badly scolded and told over 1100 people died in the tower. then, 180 people died in the pentagon. Thats when I realized it was of serious importance.

I was a junior in high school, and I just awoke to the sound of my alarm clock when I heard the news about the twin towers. I remember going to school that day and every station on the radio had the news on, as did every channel on TV had CNN on reporting in New York City that the Twin Towers had been hit and later went down. Never in my entire life did I see that much love for America by so many in one day, and I think everybody I knew was pretty much focused on enlisting in the military, myself included in order to get back at the people who knocked down the twin towers.

I was teaching the end of a high school English class when the history teacher, a friend and a member of the Army National Guard, literally ran down the hall to tell me to turn on the television...America was being attacked. I remember my eyes filling with tears and trying to be strong for the kids. After class was dismissed, I spent the next period, my free period, watching television.

I was sitting on my couch getting ready for work. As soon as I saw the video of the plane hitting the first tower, I said, "this is a terrorist attack." It just looked too precise and unusual to be an accident, plus I remembered a threat at the World Trade Center earlier. I called my co-workers and my Mom to turn on the TV. It was the beginning of a very sad, dark, ominous day and era in our lives.

I was sitting in the lobby of a company that I had a job interview and they had Howard Stern on the radio. I remember very distinctively hearing Howard say that he thought a Cessna airplane crashed into the towers. Then I was called up for my interview. An hour later I jumped in my car and tuned into Howard and listened as he detailed the real events. I had the worse sinking feeling in my stomach, as well as anger. It was a very emotional day.

i was on my way to school when a lady came running onto the bus yell "america has been attacked. we are being attacked". i totally thought she was crazy but i called my mom and she was in shock on the phone. she tried telling me what was happening but she wasnt sure. half way to school i got off the bus and went into the mcdonalds to watch tv so i could see. people were standing around the tv, crying, and in disbelief over what was happening. by the time i made it to campus everyone was running around in a panic, classes had been cancelled, cell phone signals were scrambled. people who were from the areas or family in the areas were weeping bc they couldnt locate their family. i remember going home and watching tv for hours. it was like i was paralyzed. like i just couldnt get the images out of my head. i cant remember what i ate for breakfast today or what i did last week but i can remember that day so vividly its scary. i can remember how perfect and calm the weather was that day. it was like a errie sign of what was to come.

I was in New York, thankfully not New York city, in the car cause I was late for school. I heard it on the radio as it was happening.
When I got to school they told me I couldn't tell anyone about it and they wouldn't let the techers turn on the news,
I guess they didn't want us to panic.
