How can we educate Arabic people how cowardly 9/11 was?

Non violent conflict sounds really appealing right now. How can we show the Middle Eastern kids who cheered the towers falling and all of the people of the Middle East how cowardly it was for these attackers to slight the throats of women flight attendants? All of innocent people who died at their hands and their faces. Find the Muslims who were killed in the towers and put the pictures of those poor innocent people in front of all the radical believers. Wouldn’t Osama loose some face in the Islamic world?

How can we reinforce this image of coward behavior and appeal to the principles of Islamic peace? Would the people hiding Osama give him up if we show these images to the people close to him?

But, you have the right idea. I recall that when Jill Carrol was captured by Jihadis in Iraq, they were most impressed with her father's plea for her release. A kind of man to man talk that Mr. Carrol gave over the TV set. Our psy ops guys could use this tactic with all the macho Arab males. It might gain traction.

The problem is that the radical muslims are the loudest and most violent. They are setting the agenda for the rest of the muslim world right now. There is a BUNCH of them as well. If only 1% of the 1.2 billion muslims are crazy over the edge radicals that means 12 MILLION want to destroy us. We got alot of work to do.

The Taliban are not Arabic they are Persian as well as all the others from the Iraqi border on east. Iran is not Arabic either they are also Persian. Most Arabic terror steams from US support of Israel

This Persian hate is just plain out hate. They tried to adopt the Palestinian cause as their motive but this is just an excuse. The terror from the bin laden group is due to American presence in Saudi Arabia and has nothing to do with Israel why is America in Saudi Arabia?????? First of all, why do you say arabics, TERRORISTS is who the people were. Not every muslim person believes it was right, nor do they ALL believe that killing someone is the only way to get into heaven.

That's like saying ALL Americans are ignorant of other cultures or geometry. You know some are, but not ALL.

To answer your question, I very much doubt that showing pictures of the dead muslims that they killed would convince Bin Laden's 'helpers' to rat him out. It may sway a few of the minds of civilians who are partial to Al'Qaida, but I doubt it'd make a big difference. It's a good idea though.

I'm really sad that innocent people died on 9/11 but remember hundreds of people die in middle east at the hands of the American government. osama bin laden gets more support because the Americans have shown the Muslims that its war on Islam . maybe they should just go after bin laden then trying to change the ways of Islam !! but then again bin laden is just a ploy the real reason is to eliminate Islam .

First of all, not all Arabs are Muslim, nor are all Muslims terrorists. You are actually talking about a relatively small and extreme section, and you are not going convince a fanatic that he is cowardly.

These are people who are willing to give their lives, know they are giving their lives, and are esteemed by it. I will compare them to Kamikaze Japanese only in their affection for wartime suicide, but the Japanese have it based on a long cultural history of honor and bravery in death and war. Today's terrorists don't have that type of cultural history, though they're working on it.

A year or two ago I was reading a book on terrorist attacks and the one thing that struck me and stays imprinted on my mind is that of a baby boy, a year old if that, dressed up like a suicide bomber complete with miniature dynomite, cammies, and a headband with Palestine's flag on it. This wasn't Halloween, and this was not a one shot deal - there are parents who actively have there kids dressed up like this on special occasions. It reminds me of another picture of a baby around the same age, only this was a B&W photo, and the baby was dressed in mini-Ku Klux Klan sheets and hood. When a war or conflict begins by being based on extremes in religion or race, you get people who think they are the only right people in the world. People that egocentric can't be reasoned with.

Why speak of the criminals as the whole of the 'Arab World'? And what makes you so sure 9/11 was the act of some 'arabic people' in the first place? Osama was created by the US.

By the way, enough has been shown to the Middle Eastern countries, maybe you need pay a visit to the third world warn torn nations just so you can get a slight insight! A visit to the families who're losing members on a constant basis! To those who struggle to survive another day in the midst of hunger, sickness and destruction!

You do not need to 'educate Arab people'. You need to educate yourself.

Firstly you need to understand that 9/11 was most probably the work of your own government. Secondly you need to understand that the reason you're being told that Arab people are a danger to you is that they have oil in their back yards and the USA is creating an excuse to take it. Of course they can't just go around starting illegal wars otherwise the people would be up in arms against their own government. So, what your government has done is to manufacture the events required to gain your consent.

This course of action is not as far-fetched or unusual as it sounds - you will find examples of government deception against its own people throughout history.

There is another force at work that is almost guaranteed to make you howl in protest and dismiss me as a totally crazy crank - this is something called Cognitive Dissonance. It is a psychological phenomenon that your government is well aware of because they have been using it against the public to cover lies for generations - Essential it is your natural inclination not to believe what you would rather not believe - and that is the reason your government has got away with the crime of orchestrating the attacks on 9/11 for so long. And it is the reason many women whose husbands are obviously cheating on them choose to believe the most implausible denials. (as a frivolous but common example).

However the lies your government has told you about 9/11 can be proved to be lies scientifically. Some very brave and patriotic Americans have spent their time and resources doing exactly that on our behalf.

They don't see it as a cowardly act they see it as a blow against what they perceive as American cultural and economic imperialism.

I think most Muslim people in the world believe Al Queda has moral authority for their actions.

Both sides have to want to play the game of non violence for it to work.

Sensitively, first we bomb the Taliban out of Afghanistan, then we shake the ground and depose their leader in Iraq. If this is not enough, we should help them achieve their goal of martyrdom by using cluster bombs, tanks, nukes rifles whatever it takes to help.

I assisted some of the members of the religion of peace get their 72 virgins during Desert Storm, I am too old now but I can let someone help their cause, it is the only nice thing to do.

yea personally one of my good freind who is 15 now i think is an arab and he gets picked for being that even though he is 6'6 and its just us freinds pickin on him now he knew it was bad but his cousins back home in qatar i think he said, think it was cool to show how bad and cowardly 9/11 was his parents told them that imagine that a white guy(no offensive) walks in and hijacks a plan and one of his realtives and some freinds and some other local people from he is country die how will they fell and they got it try it out
