Im True Believer by Nickolas Sparks and it says L-I-B every so often....for example just now i read..."L-I-B he thought. Who would have thought." I try figuring it out by the context but cant.

It southern dialect for: "Well I'll Be!"

I learned it from this little trick. Have someone read this aloud:

M R Ducks!
M R Not Ducks!
M R 2 Ducks! C M Wangs?
L I B! M R Ducks!

(Trans: Em Are ducks! Em are not ducks! Em are too ducks! See em wings? Well I'll be! Em are ducks!)
