I'm guessing a "dodecahedron". This term actually applies to the shape of the crystal. It has 12 faces, 30 edges, and 20 vertices. The stone can either form naturally in this state (rare) or be cut and polished to this shape. I can't put my hands on the book right now, but I remember reading somewhere in my library that this is one of the most powerful shapes for crystal healing work. Please feel free to email me with any other questions.

Rodochrosite is a light pink stone which can include bands of whie. It's properties promote emotional well being, friendship, kindness and compassion. It also helps integrate previously disowned or ignored values into your whole person.
