Marvel by far had some of the most powerful lethal heroes of the entire comic genre. Eg.. Phoenix, Wolverine, Fantastic four, Spiderman. All of which had darksides to them and some of which even killed enemies instead of arresting them. Then you go to DC who's characters are more on the Nicer "white hat" side of the comic industry (changing just recently). EG. Superman, Flash, Batman(a little shady but still a no kill person) green lantern.... So when you put people like superman (extremly strong) against say the hulk (same deal as superman) superman is bound to lose. Becasue one thing marvel forrgot to focus on is balance... people keep getting bigger and badder without and reprecussions. where as dc heroes never really have these unbalanced powers. so if you put everyone from dc against everyone from marvel Marvel wins hands down, Korvak alone could wipe out the entire dc universe with a mere thought. but all and all it would be fun to watch ^_^

Even though I am a Marvel zombie, I'm getting well-aquainted with the DC universe 'cause it's starting to become an interesting read. Marvel is making a lot of serious changes which include Spider-Man unmasking himself to the world. That's crazy.
Right now, I'd like to say 'DC' for sales but for stories Marvel is still going strong. After the "Onslaught" storyline everything in the Marvel universe proved to be quite the read. When the dust settles, both publishers are going to be fighting to be top of the heap.
Make mine 'Marvel'. 'Nuff Said.

Marvel would take the cake. Anything that DC has, Marvel has the opposite and far better versain. From Superman who has the Hulk to deal with, to the Justice League who would have to deal with the FF, X-Men or Avengers all who would wipe the floor with the JL, to Batman who wouldn't stand a chance against normal Marvels like Punisher or Daredevil. DC relies on external things such as aliens and such whereas Marvel has its fair share of aliens, they rely more on genetics. Things happen in the Marvel Universe because of nature not because of mere happenstance.

I like both but DC is the best. They have the true classic characters(Batman and Superman.) DC has my favorite superhero Hal Jordan the Green Lantern. DC's Vertigo also released one of the greatest comics of all time Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Marvel is cool but does not keep up with the more cutting edge non superhero stuff DC has.

The Spectre would kick Galactus, The Beyonder, the In- Betweener, Ego the Living Planet, Death, Eternity, Order, Chaos and all those guys

Marvel has always been my favorite but DC has been dishing out some fantastic stories since identity crisis.

I like Marvel, they're a bunch of renegades. DC has all the heroes though, so it would be hard to decide. I would go for Marvel though.

i don't understand i might think of DC/Mortal Kombat via fact highway fighter probable does not have that lots of of challenge via fact they don't probable have superpowers. and that i don't think of ask your self is that massive on superpowers.and Mortal Kombat might probable lose. So DC might probable be the only ones left. nicely besides it quite is my opinion on that. desire this permits:)
