everyone"s skin is different so what makeup works for me may not work for you. it also depends on what you are looking for in a makeup.
i switch between estee lauder and mary kay. i like both, but i am also 40 years old. my daughter who is 21 likes maybelline and cover girl makeup best.
if you go online to some of the makeup company web sites you can get samples. try a few different ones and then choose.
always get a foundation or moisturizer with a sunblock, i was always very careful about this and my skin looks so much younger than my friends.

OMG I am so in love with Bare Essentials ( I Hope i spelled that right) I am a frugal person and i really do not like to spend a lot of $$$ on a brand name, But I was in a position to try this and I am absolutely in LOVE with it. It covers like a dream, dark circles and pimples and freckles. The warmth color looks like you have a healthy tan, and it last forever. My liquid foundation used to go to waste before i used it all, this does not. so the $$ I was spending on the foundation that ended up going to waste, i am now spending and not wasting.....i love it !!!

The best make up is Mac and Clinque an dmy favorite skin care is clinque i dont like mary kay it brakes my skin out

I'm a fan of Avon and Clinique. They're good products, their colors span the wonderous variety of women's skin and tone, plus they don't do animal testing.

Whatever is affordable and does not make you break out. Maybelline is good.
