I am wanting other peoples opinion. Should I be able to use my pocketpcs at school i'm 14 almost 15 you would think that they would let me use it to keep track of things!!!
Whats you're opinion?

To use it as a calendar or note keeper for homework assignments yes. However, you shouldn't be able to use it during test.

I purchased PDAs for bot my kids (college students) to help them be organized.

A PDA is a distraction for a person your age. I would wait until you reach college age before you can honestly justify using a PDA. I think that there are far too many distractions for kids today, from cellphones to mp3 players, dvd players, and PDA. I think they ought to ban any of these devices on school premises. You won't miss them that much during school. Do well in school. It will pay BIG down the road, and you'll be able to play with any toy you want then.

I recall handheld gaming devices are once all the rage, some schools banned having those devices but that was long ago; it was avoid the addicting behavior permeating in classes especially in session; but now they shouldn't have any rules against that.

College certainly has no objection to it; those pupils are old enough to judge the gaming impact; so 15 is probably okay for having PDAs; they are very useful with near-laptop capabilities, I had no problem holding a 486 laptop in school when I was your age.
