hey! well to start with.. i was having period pain constantly for 4 weeks before i had my baby. I got checked about 3 weeks before labour started and i was already 2cms dilated.. That wouldve made my labour alot shorter i think too. But my waters broke at 6pm and i started contractions at midnight and had my little boy at 10:08am the next morning, so about 10hours. Although i was fully dilated at about 7am and couldve had him earlier i think. It was just that I had an epidural (very recommended -its like heaven) and because it was my first baby and you dont feel the urge to push as much with the epidural then i wasnt sure what i was supposed to look out for to know when to push. Good luck with your birth. (by the way, it took me an hour of pushing to get him out which isnt too bad.. also With the help of a vacuum extraction towards the end)

Hi, well we were admitted around midnight on a Monday and I delivered 11.21 am on the Tuesday morning. They gave me pitocin about 8am as I was still only 5cms. I also didn't stop much during pushing and contractions. I remembered all those baby channel days: every time you stop pushing the babys head rocks back again and if you keep pushing then the babys head actually has a chance to move further. Good Luck,

The doctors were going to take me to have a emergency c section if i didn't have her within the next couple of hours.. scared me so bad that i did have her like 10 minutes before that second hour came around...
Good Luck..

9 hours from the first small pain. No medicine and I was fine. The next two I was induced and had an epidural. They took longer to recover from and I felt horrible. Good Luck!

From start to finish about 16 hours I would say. I really do not remember that much about it other than my mom says I pushed for about 3 extremely long hours.
