Where can i get started for a career in stunts?

Stunt schools are usually in NY or LA. There's one in Florida and Hawaii too, the last time I've checked. It's expensive to attend class and you have to be athletic too.

If you are of high school age, you may find a film/multimedia focused school that may include stunt training. I teach at one such school, but the stunt training is underemphasized compared to the basic film industry stuff: shooting, production, editing, etc.
I don't know if you are over high school age.

There ary many in California. But it is best to find someone that does them and work and train under someone. LA411 online should list some, The Stuntmens Association of Motion Pictures is a group, but there are many "associations" (including Stuntwomens) call and ask around.
