I got lots of thumbs down for my answers the other day and I feel bad about it.Should I still answer those peoples questions?

Yeah it bothers when I know I gave a really good answer or a perverted one. When I give a really opinionated answer, I know it was just some idiot who disagreed with me. When I give a perverted answer to a perverted question, I know it's some goody2shoe and I end up getting reported for it. So then I get mad and I go down the list of answers and thumbs up and thumbs down all of them as paybacks. Yes, I take Yahoo Answers seriously...This is my 9to5.

The asker is not necessarily the one who rated your answer. It could be another one of the answerer's or just someone browsing answers and questions.I think some some unscrupulous people even give thumbs down to every answer other than the one they gave! I would not let it bother me whatsoever!

Yes u should continue to answer the hell with those that give u the thumbs down, don't stop being u for nobody. Answer all the questions that u want.

It pisses me off if I give a good answer but if it's a yes or no question and I give a yes or no answer and I get a thumbs down than I don't care!!!

Don't take it seriously ! It is the cyberworld here. This subject of allowing people to judge other people they don't have a clue about was an extremely bad and highly subjective idea in the first place.
I would not give a damn whatsoever !
Have not looked at your answers but anyway......I don't rate at all!

Those would be the people that I would MOST PAY ATTENTION TO and make sure I answer their questions before anyone elses!
It'd be like a version of the flaming poop bag, only via your really really good answers.

nah, no big deal, i get thumbs down for my answers too, its just ppl opinions...but sometimes i get it for no apparant reason...like the person "thumbs down" everyone there answering the q...i just ignore it...=)
