A good age to start wearing makeup is 15. Your actually a teenager because 13 and 14 are to young.

I think around middle school age but only mascara and maybe some tinted lipgloss, too much at that age can look like the girl is playing with her moms makeup instead of really knowing what she's doing. as the girl gets a little older each year subtle but a little more won't hurt.I don't ever think its a great idea to wear alot of makeup at any age !

I started to wear makeup at 11, but only blush and lipgloss. I think a good age for mascara and eyeshadow is thirteen.

if your a teenager, better not apply any make-up, powder is enough for youthful skin, put a little blush on, theres a blush on for teens, a light lipstick will be ok. at the age of 18 you can try a bit of branded light cake foundation (take note..dont use it everyday, cuz we are avoiding getting wrinkles at early age) there were so many skin type, if your skin is not sensitive you can go on wearing makeup as you want, but be sure to wash it of before going to bed.

good question - my daughter will soon be 12 - just started 7th grade & she loves to wear mascara. She is pretty w/nice skin & beautiful green eyes. she doesn't need any, but we (husband & I) let her wear lip gloss & maybe a bit of eye shadow, but that's all. A good age, I think, is about 30.

When you start dating. If you wear makeup when you too young, you giving off the vibe that your ready for sex, when your not ready. I say this because of history of what makeup is about and used for. It's for showing off the feminine body for sexual attraction. Yes, many women just wear it to feel good about themselves, but they feel good about themselves because they're getting attention for the opposite sex, and the women who envy other women with attractive makeup. Everyone knows you get treated better when you present yourself more mature and attractively, for many reason, but those reasons.
So be responsible with it.

Around when you get your period if thats like 10 don't start wearing make-up. depending on the person i'd say 12 -15 anywhere in there but if your younger like 12 just wear like eye-shadow, lip gloss, etc not like eye liner foundation..etc...well bye!
