Do you live in the same house? Do you plan on not having your child in your care, or leaving him/her in this woman's care? Do you plan on bringing your child up in a bubble not teaching him/her how to be aware of her surroundings, to not talk to strangers, to live in fear. Moving is not going to solve your problem because this woman just got caught. Unless you go to an isolated island where you have no human contact, you will really never know just who is living in the house next door. You just have to be a responsible parent - nurturing an indepence in your child and awareness of her surroundings. More importantly, trusting first impressions and gut instincts as well as common sense safety will keep your child safe. Treat her well, and you won't have to worry that she'll end up away from her parents. Do the best you can - love her and you will be fine.

I know youd want to move, but dont. stand your ground, its not you that needs to go anywhere it is the mother if she is justly wrong. your daughter will be fine because no matter what as someone just said, people are everywhere like that. honestly, i dont think the woman is a child killer, i could be wrong, but some mothers just cant handle chronic crying or other things babies are assiciated with that they cant control. thats why shaken baby syndrome occurs in infants. I just think she killed HER kid. not that she'd kill others. dont waste money that you could use for her college fund to move when its probably not necessary. id stay, but keep extra extra watch.

it would be silly to move because of that. you never know what your new neighbours might be capable of. just because something hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. it didn't happen with this woman until it did either, if you know what i mean. i highly doubt she would be out randomly killing other people's kids anyway. besides, if law enforcement does their job, she won't be living there much longer. child killers and other criminals can be anywhere, not just in the places you know about.

Why move, It is not you who should be punished. If you didn't do anything wrong, voice your opinion and show the community that you support law and justice by speaking out against this criminal. We had something like this close to home happen and we didn't move.

Why would you do that??? You will be moving around all your life - I guarantee some kind of criminal, especially the child hurting ones, will live close by everywhere you live!!!

It shouldnt matter to you where they live especially if you love your house. I dont even talk to my neighbors. Maybe its best to just stay away from them but if you feel you need to move then move

I wouldn't be too hasty. Wait and see what and how it happened. Don't be so reactive... get the facts before you take any action unless you know the facts already.

I would watch the news to find out what happened - see if she is guilty or something else happened.

Yeah, but isn't she going to jail? But just to be safe, move somewhere else if/when she gets out.
