All water is recycled, we are drinking the same water that the Romans drank and the peoples before them.
Think about it.
Masses of water heated by sun
Clouds form loaded with rain
Rainfall into river and lakes
We collect it
Drink it pee it or sweat it.
Condenses or runs through drains to the water plant or sea and the cycle ie repeated
