sorry, but I've never even heard of an Indian Empire before.
when was there ever an Indian empire around? what lands/people was it made up of?
Regardless of the above, the Persian Empire was one of the most powerful ones ever on the face of the earth.

The Persian Empire (which is Iran today) was established by Cyrus the Great in 6th century BC, conquered and changed by Alexander the Great in 330 BC, and finally overthrown by the rise of the Islamic civilization in 537 AD. Sence the arrival of Islam the country has seen nothing but tormoil, death and the failure of civilzation in the area.
Part of the cradle of civilization Persia had immense influence on western civilization, and florished until Islamic mohammad's mad advance on the area which distroyed most of the nations of the times . None of them have survived the on slaught of Islam and rose to any consequencal influence sence.
India has had no significent influence on the world, and was a colonial state of Britian.until the fifties I think.


The Indus Civilization is one of the oldest societies and the The Mauryan empire included all of what is now India and traded with Rome, China, and Africa, and everywhere in between. But stillit's influience on the west was mimium.
