tell her. if she doesn't like you anymore, she never was a friend. if she doesn't mind, you might have a new lover.

The best answer I can give you is it's up to you. Everydoby has their own comfort level and reasons when it comes to outing themselves. Some people out themselves to everyone for various reasons. Ohters don't tell a soul unless they have to. Do what you think is right. Most people I've found don't really care about another person's preference, and I'm one of those people that outs myself to everyone.

You should tell her. But if you are not interested in her as a potential partner, you should make that clear in the beginning. Just let her know things aren't going to change, you are still the same person. She should respect your honesty and it might make your friendship stronger.

its a part of who you are. it depends on what kind of relationship you are developing with her, and how much you want to confide in her. if you were straight would you already be talking to her about your love life? if you are ready to take it to that point with her, then you will have to tell her that you like women, and then you can move from there. the others are right in that, if she rejects you, then you really dont want her as a friend anyway...

Hmm that is tough question. That all depends on what kind of relationship you have. If you have a crush on her, maybe not. But if your just buddies maybe it okay.
If she is open minded she will accept your sexual preference. But if you feel uncomfortable about it then you might want to keep to yourself.

If she is ok with gays/lesbians, there's no reason why you should fear her to treat you any different. If you trust your friend, and she trusts you, then you should tell her. Tell her in a cool way...like "did you know I am gay/lesbian too?" And most likely she'd be like "Oh cool, how long, etc."

Go for it. If she is a true friend she will accept you no matter what. I was friends with a girl in college who frequently talked about her "husband". She later told me that she was "married" to a woman. It didn't make a difference to me! I liked her for who she was not what she did or didn't do!

Tell her the truth, 9x's out of 10 she already knows and it doesn't matter, on the other hand, if she freaks you are better off without her.
